I've been lurking around here for a while and learning how to play from this forum and its members. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for all your help and discussions. Thanks to all of you, I've been able to move up from Settler to Prince. I've tried King a few times but I'm not quite able to pull off a win yet. 
Anyway, I played a standard BNW game yesterday and today as Brazil and managed to come from WAY behind to win a cultural victory with one final huge GM concert tour (+17,900 Tourism), and as a bonus, right before that final move, I also received an extra Great Musician (as a City-State unit gift) that had 18,610 Tourism. Wow. This particular game has inspired me to get better. I could have been >35,000 culture/tourism behind and still won. Amazing.
All of this thanks to your collective advice, discussions, explanations, strategy ideas, and a couple of other resources (carlsguides and the wikia in particular). Keep up the good work!
