Steam Achievements with mods?

Perhaps this should be posted over on the steam forums.. but frankly, I hate their forums and I love this forum, so I'm posting here. Is there a way to trick steam into letting achievements unlock while using mods? Currently they don't. I want achievements but I want my mods too!

No. But you can just trick the achievements via savegames and then play with any mods on you want after you've gotten all the achievements.

I get achievements fine with modified core assets (creating a mod refuses to work and I cba with their new "improved" way of modding this game.)
