I'm okay with Egypt being the former Roman Colony, and now brother in Populism.

I imagined Venice being an independent country for a while, before being eaten by the Republic of Rome during the Liberal Revolutions (and thus giving Rome the Adriatic and Greece). I think of Rome being the equivalent of Napoleonic France, except that it convinces another power to help it out and support it before realising that Rome is a radical revolutionary republic out for blood and thus gets away with huge chunks of territory. I will do a full history of the Italian Peninsula at some point, and submit it for review/alteration based on choices. The antagonist country doesn't necessarily have to be massively involved territorially in Italy - just massively involved in terms of dynastic or political interests (see France in the Italian Wars of the 15th-16th centuries).

Also, I like Bohemia being a powerful Empire (maybe stretching from the Baltic to Rome?) as well as Great Old Bulgaria being a thing.

ED: I haven't defined Populism properly yet. It is a radical left-wing revolutionary collectivist of some kind ideology, so it fits in a Comintern.

Regarding Britain I'd like everyone's opinion:

Would you rather a "standard" semi-fascist Britain or a Britain in exile after a communist uprising in the home isles? I have ideas for both and am kinda leaning towards the Britain in exile one at the moment.

I'll have NPC's respond to the ComIntern after Update Zero. I'll scatter communist and semi-communist (and capitalist) countries around the world. Not all of them will join, though.

On the NPC mod, I'm thinking he or she would take all/most the minor NPC's and send orders for them (at least, until they get dragged into a player's intimate sphere of influence). I would maintain control of the major NPC's (such as Bohemia), and if the NPC mod is amongst us, the minors that neighbor the NPC mod's "normal" country.

The Mod would: Write diplomacy, Send Orders (Spending and Basic Actions Only), And do routine NPC stats (after I give him the go ahead).

By routine I mean economic growth/decay, purchases, etc. I will do stats to reflect military issues or interlayer conflict. These orders should come in the day BEFORE the deadline, and the confirmation would come the day of or the day after the Deadline, with the update 2 days after Deadline.

The Mod should: have "lots" of free time (12+ minor NPC's), creativity (yes they're bots, no they aren't all the same), google+, preferably available in a reasonable time period in relation to Eastern Time.

-Zealots sound like 2 Brigades (for larger masses) or 4/6 Regiments (if they focus on clandestine operations). Although they sound like Marines Elite (3 Brigades), the heavy vehicle emphasis and training makes me lower their size a bit.

Viz. Ukraine - I'd say the odds of a Ukrainian state (or successor state, depending) are fairly high. Sympathetic depends on how democratic and non-imperialistic it is. Also if it's not openly against the Church.

I kind of like the idea of Darkest Africa, FWIW.

I'm not sure of the science to break into space yet, but just so it can be a major early accomplishment, lets set that as 25 into Rockets (instead of just 15 ).

SS-2 is approved. 1 ASP buys 1 SS-2 (simply because it's currently high tech and all that jazz.) You can probably increase production ratio with a project and/or with additional tech+redesign. The SS-2 Tech Requirement is 15 Rocketry.

I'm not a rocket scientist, so I have no idea what the numbers mean. I do know 1000kg is a bit'chin amount of explosive. Here's a V-2 (with 1ton warhead)

Fair enough, I was modeling it off of the V2 which did actually make it out of space, and im not suggesting that the SS2 made it very far, or could even be put into orbit, just that it successfully did make it into "space", or that the one that made it space even had a warhead on it, because I don't think it would have, so yah I think it was just a just barely made it to the very edge of space with no additional weight, so it barely just gets that achievement.

also 1 ton is ~907Kg, so yah the explosion should be fairly similar to the one in the video

also just double checking that I am not spending too much or that i still have possible spending, since you never said if we have any free amount to invest into tech.

OK, couple of things about the Nasri Caliphate's neighbors:
- Galicia: it controls the north-west of the Iberian peninsula, more or less what is RL Galicia plus the parts of Portugal that are not controlled by the Nasri Caliphate. It is a nation quite oriented towards the outside, having several colonies in West Africa and control over the Açores Islands (the Nasri Caliphate controls the Canary Islands and Madeira), and very merchant-driven. Currently governed by a Republic after a revolution violently toppled the Braganza Monarchy back in the late 19th century. They participated in the two Iberian Wars with the aim of taking over the western coast of the Caliphate, but it currently considers Castile more of a threat than Granada.
- Aragon: it controls what the RL Kingdom of Aragon controlled, minus what is still under control of the Caliphate. Out of the three northern Iberian nations, Aragon is the only one that keeps a King as a powerful figure, although he delegated much of his powers after the First and Second Iberian Wars and the grave losses in terms of people and material. Aragon is currently looking at the Mediterranean, establishing a new commercial empire by trading with the minor nations in the Mediterranean and building a navy powerful enough to protect itself. They currently look with apprehension at Castilla, and are considering the possibility of allying with Galicia against them to protect each other from the Castilian greed.
- Castilla: it controls everything between Galicia and Aragon. It had several colonies in Africa, but they were eventually lost after the Second Iberian War. The backlash from the defeat in the Second Iberian War eventually translated into a dictatorship, with the King of Castile as the figurehead, and the nation being actually controlled by a man called Joaquín Suñer, the leader of the extreme right-wing Partido Nacional, which has, among its policies, to establish Catholicism in all over the Peninsula, so, naturally, Granada is its biggest enemy, although they are also looking greedily at Galicia and Aragon. They are currently building up their army to take on either of their three main neighbors.
- Mauretania: once a loose alliance of Berber tribes that rejected the Nasri Caliphate's dominion over northern Africa, they eventually became a nation that dominates the sands of the deserts south of the Caliphate and part of the coast, although they do not have great power projection due exactly to that same problem.

Oh. Whoopsie. The second one - they're not a numerous group.
