The Newbie’s Guide to Modding Civilization 5

Are there any plans about updating this? It's been quite a while since it's last been updated so I'm wondering if it's abandoned or not.
 
I literally signed up just to try to contact this guy for help....damn it. Now I'm all lost again =(
