replaying a game at different difficulty level

I'm very new here, maybe this idea has already been here.

I enjoy playing the Game of the Month. And after the game, I often wonder how that game might have turned out at a different difficulty level. It would be a cool feature if you could use your initial save and play it again at another level.

I think it would be something nice as well. It have been suggested by the past, but it didn't came up to Firaxis hears. For example some complained that we couldn't delete saves ingame (Civ4), they added (Civ5) it but they forgot other features in the process.

Seems it's not that easy to be a developer.
