Will uninstalling Civ 5 affect steam counting achievements?

I can't find a thread mentioning this already and sorry if this is meant to be somewhere else. However soon i'd like to factory reset my computer. If I do this will the counting steam achievements such as land baron [Which is purchasing 1000 land tiles], Paul Bunyan [Chopping down 1000 forests] etc reset, or are they recorded on steam servers and therefore saved on them?

I believe they are synced but ONLY if you allowe it to sync (i.e allow Steam to upload your saves)

I am not 100% sure.

Steam achievements are earned in game and connected to your online profile. Uninstalling the game will not affect them in any way.

Given that you can move your Steam account from one PC to another and keep all your achievements, you should have no problem resetting the one PC.

They're stored online, the only way to lose them is if you reset them with third-party software.
