Lowering graphics quality in BNW

Thanks to Bob Morane, I've turned off the ocean. I can see that other posters have also turned off the fog of war, so that it appears as black rather than animated clouds. How is this done? And are there other ways of making the graphics quality even lower?

I've done it before, and I'm not sure it gave much benefit (I'm on a rather slow Mac, too). Isn't it one of the options under the graphics tab inside the game?

I've turned everything down to the minimum. It gets rid of those irritating leader animations and speeches (saves time, too). I've also switched off the portentous drivel that gets read out at the beginning of each game. It drove me mad.
