After the adventure (terrible, terrible adventure) of being paired with an AI for a 2 on 2 team game, Rich and I replace our AI handicaps with real life beginners Justin and Miles! Although we can explain our strategies to our buddies, there certainly is no guarantee that our teammates will listen.

Map: Pangaea and Small
Turns: Quick
AI: Prince
Teams enabled, 3 teams of 2
Team 1: Rich (Poland), Justin (Mongolia)
Team 2: JJ (Greece), Miles (Germany)
Team 3: Pacal and Spain (AI)

Epi 1: With Arms Wide Open

Greece:
The foundations for the capital city and our civilization look strong. The palace of Athens overlooks the great sea beyond. Plains to the north look to deliver crops to feed our people while the forest to the south will build us great structures. Somewhere in the beyond, the friendly Germans have established their own camp. We haven't met them and can't communicate with them, but for some reason I think we will be best friends. I have tasked our mystics to find ways to use our metallic resources nearby and send our greatest warrior to explore our surroundings, to find our allies and future settlements for the greatness of Greece!

Epi 2: Barbarian Attraction

Greece:
Life has been hard in building our capital. Scouts have found few signs of any ancient settlements nearby. We suspect that anything that was nearby have been taken by roving bands of uncivilized people. The German people to the north face similar hardships and are unable to come to our aid as the barbarian hordes get more bold with their attacks. Finally a scout discovered an ancient settlement nearby with drawings of mysterious water machines. Perhaps these will turn the tide against the hordes outside.

Episode 3: The world is a little ... droopy

Greece: We have met up with our friends, the Germans, to the North. We can't understand their language, but they have brought the same idols from the barbarians we have been fighting. Together we must clear a path for our cities to thrive.

In 1780 B.C., we have finally completed the Great Library, and undertaking that has taken centuries to complete. This has lead to an unprecedented period of discovery for our civilization in the field of philosophy and will be the envy of civilizations for all of time.

Episode 4: Rated M for Miles

Greece:
A group of explorers heads to off to settle lands cleared by our warriors to the south. The new city will create a highway connecting the north and south coasts and turn this peninsula into the foundation of our Greek society. In our assembly, we have passed laws to accept city-states as among our own cities, hoping they will contribute to the safety of the peninsula.

Episode 5: We Worship the Bomb

Greece:
Our great civilization has expanded to the south as we get word that explorers have found the south coast to the great sea and established the city of Sparta. The year is 920 B.C. We haven't seen any of the barbarians on land for several decades now. There is no doubt that they have become fearful of our military strength.

Episode 6: They're Going for Un Zima!

Greece: The barbarians have made their way back and bring new weapons with them. The Germans to the north quickly are dispersed by their presence. Our Greek warriors and their superior training fend them off for the both of us for now. Finally the Germans show off their newest wonder, the Oracle. We ask how this mysterious new building will fight off the savages ravaging through their lands. They cryptically respond that it will all be over soon.

Episode 7: The Shame Cone

Greece:
Our mystics have convinced the people of the ways of antielsimism. Those who believe look to build giant cathedral to worship the glorious earth. Naturally we have capitalized on the opportunity to create a worship tax for the construction of all these religious buildings.
Once again our military has come to the rescue of Germany, but their military might is starting to show with more advanced weaponry. Hopefully this will be the last time we fight the savages.

Episode 8: The Big Sausage in the Sky!

Greece:
The great Parthenon has been completed in our capital after several decades of building. Immediately we start on the next great project, the Borobudur. We've also completed the first Cathedral of antielsimism. In the West, our allies settle their third city. Hopefully this will turn into our outer buffer to protect our important religious structures.

Greece:
We continue our fight with the savages, but in the midst of our fighting, our scouts have found another civilization! These Pacal warriors share the same zeal for fighting the barbarians as we do. We have not seen their cities yet however. Our allies, the Germans, have more problems than barbarians. Civil unrest continues through their civilization. We have put together aid packages to help the Germans, but haven't been getting much in return for our troubles.

Our prophets warned of supernatural disasters if the unbelievers do not convert to antielsimism. It was only when our newest construction project, the Hagia Sophia, crumbled into a meager pile of gold did we all start believing. A new prophet emerged soon after to teach us more about the antielsimism faith.
Our economy continues to grow now that the barbarian threat has been removed from our borders. Our German allies still continue to fight them, but they are no longer a threat to our lands as we continue to push outwards.

Episode 11: The Rise of Prostatism
Another religion shows up on the world scene as the Mongols create 'Prostatism'! Meanwhile, Germany's expansion efforts get hung up by some savages.

After decades of chasing, we finally liberated the German settlers out in the frontier. We've encountered more Incan and Spanish warriors out in the frontier but no cities. The German capital of Un Zima has been watching some Spanish settlers as well, but they have not setup anywhere. This gave the Germans the time they needed to setup their next city.

We've finally identified the German rebels and have attempted to negotiate using our special negotiators to put down the insurrection. After many years, the rebellions have died out. No doubt this was helped by our massive aid packages throughout these generations. Despite our help, the Germans began accusing us of helping start the insurrection! Even with the turmoil affecting German lands, our proud nation of Greece continues to expand, settling in to the north of our great capital.

Greece:
We've had pilgrims setup monuments to our religion in suburbs near our capital for those who wish to keep practicing antielsimism. Our faith is strong and we've spread our faith throughout the known world.
The known world, however, has gotten bigger. The Spanish have introduced us to the Polish and Mongolian peoples. Their demeanor suggests that they are a very brute and warlike bunch, even if they were "traders". I suspect that they are nothing more than spies masquerading as scouts for their empires.

decided to watch these, and man they are funny keep it up!

Poland:
Dobrze spełnione! Czekamy do przyszłego włączenia do wielkiej polskiej kiełbasy. Proszę zapewnić odpowiednie zakwaterowanie dla naszych piratów i dać im wszystkie "Zima".

Greece:
As we suspected, those Polish cannot be trusted. Just a few years after meeting them, they've contracted a privateer to scout out our coasts. Following this, Poland chose for its first international action at the First Congress of Sausage Town to embargo our civilization. In response, we've begun upgrading the military to combat this threat in the west.
