A new demographics poll, this time for those here in the civ5-forum.
Are there more kiddies being drawn in after Revolution or are the old players getting :old:?

Civ4 ages here

You haven't voted on your own poll yet :p

If you do it, people will think I have :p

i'm sure there are people who would kick me for this, but having to click that 26-30 button instead of 20-25 was a truly horrifying experience. it gave me three more grey hairs. THREE OF THEM!

it is kinda mind blowing to think that I'v been playing civ games since civ2 came out when i was 13.

I am eldest at this point. A YEAR & three months after release, I'll be in the 61+ category!

I had a more horrifying experience. I had to click 45-49. I'm counting how many non-gray hairs I have left.

15 right now, but CiV is coming out a month before my birthday so I just put 16.

Well I have been playing Civ for about 5 years now since I was about 8. But I didn't come from civ rev. It looks really bad compared to the pc versions. I stared with civIII

I'll be in the tail end of the 16-20 category when the game comes out. :)

I'm 14. For some reason, I kind of expected a younger audience of fans.

Think of it this way, a lot of civs audience was picked up by civ1 and 2 while they were younger. Also most <15 aged people don't have the patience to learn or play stratagy games, believe me, I know.

I was 18 when I started playing Civ 1. That was early '93.

Started playing Civ2 in 1996 at age 29...late start I know :p But I made up for it since then :p
