Quick Question on Number of Civ's You Play per Game

Standard map size. 7 Civs and 14 CS. My computer (MBP) can not handle much more with an unsupported graphic card. And I like some early space to so at least settling the 2nd city is not to much of an act of war. Of course depends on who else is on the map. Some really like settling close to my capital even do there is better land elsewhere.

I usually play huge maps with max civs and max CS, depending on map type. CS may go down with some map types. Open space makes me sad

Usually 8 to 12 on a Large map. I like to micromanage diplomacy and resource trades, and it seems like it would be too confusing or time-consuming with 20 or so Civs. Maybe I will try adding more to change things up when I get better at the game.

I like to play with default civ numbers on standard and huge mapsizes, but trying 20 civs on game it seems nice.
