Shamefully, this is something I am not 100% sure of.
Can trading posts yield Gold more than 3 tiles away?

Anyone?
TPs that are 4 or more tiles from the city center cannot be worked by citizens and cannot provide any gold to the city. Same applies to luxuries and strategic resources located in rings 4 and 5; you get the luxury/strategic, but not the tile yield.
