Multiplayer???

Ever since I've bought Civilization V(Several Months Ago), I've been trying to get into some multiplayer games. Every session I join I get kicked by the host without fail. I have all of the correct DLC's for the games I am joining and am growing really frustrated. Any help would be appreciated!

If you have a high ping or a ping that spikes often most hosts will kick you, because it will cause a laggy game. What ping do you see from other players (the ping is the speed between you and them, so whatever ping you see for a player they see for you.)

A number under 200ms should be fine, even pings in the 250ms I have been able to play smoothly, but under 100ms is better.

Pings average 50 or less.
