Adv start religion

Hi!
Ive searched and found no answer.
On advanced starts (like many PBEM games), if several players buy the same religious tech, what determines who founds the religion?

When playing single player games, the player always wins when wonders, religions etc happen on the same turn; this is because the player starts first (and techs and wonders are finished at the end of your turn). So... I think whoever starts first will probably get the religion. Not sure if there is anyway to tell that before the game is actually going.

Ahh, that must be correct, then it is a considerable advantage to be first in turnorder in mp also u cant see religions while buying i think so u might buy the crappy rel tech for no use, or is there a notification in the upper left corner? cant see eventlog.
If simultaneous turns i guess it is the one who buys it first then or could it still be the civorder that matters?
