So I recently started this game on a Huge Earth Map on Deity difficulty. I started a few games with random civs until I got a decent start in Africa with Germany.
Has anyone else tried the Huge Earth Map on Deity, until this game I have always just retired when it became hopeless due to runaway AI or bad start location.
Early exploration is key as I was able to get France to eliminate Korea early on. (Well not eliminate, but France did neutralize them as a threat)
I think I pretty much have got this game for science or domination victory. Mistakes I made was stealing to many workers and now some city states hate me. I also should have build shrines earlier on to get a religion.
Not sure if 4 cities will be enough, but I think for big cities is better than 6 or 7 smaller cities. Now I am trying to grow my capital with one cargo ship I am torn between using another cargo ship on my capital or one of my other cities.
Looks like I could also found the world congress. Only problem I will have is Polynesia and hopefully I can manage the other Civs to be at war with neither one winning so I can sneak to science victory while they are at constant war.
Edit : I lost finally by 2 turns. Should have gone for Order or Freedom instead of Autocracy. Maria's capital was insane over 50 population at one stage before I nuked it.
