Nobody talks about that or I can't find it? It's pretty annoying. When someone quits, even with pitboss disabled, players can join.
What about hot joining?

Yes, but the problem is that the game in progress is visible in the lobby.

Lol. Really? We start a game with 6 players. In the middle of the game someone quits. Then hundreds of players try to join. You have to kick everyone of them. Meanwhile, the game is frozen.
No problems at all.
