Preflight
Looks good. Not that the east has PP; hopefully they’ll waste time researching Dem & FA and give us a chance to get ahead on techs.

Turn 149 (340 AD)
AC pillages hill by Argos and retreats to let the Greek LB expose itself. Retreats to nearby hill.
Battle near Coyotepec – 6/6 AC vs 3/3 Egyptian knight – win, -1hp. (1-0)
Retreat back to stack – see a 4/4 Egyptian knight on the way in.
Move workers away from the battle front after the road is built. Send them towards Cempoala to get irrigation to the west.
IBT – LOTS of units appear.
France appears with 4 swords.
Egypt appears with 3 knights, 1 MDI, 3 swords, 1 archer.
Bunto flips to the greek and takes an AC with it. (1-1)
Turn 150 (350 AD)
Tlacopan: Harbor=>Musket
Malinalco: Settler=>Aqua
Cempoala: Worker=>Treb
No one will talk. Hmm.
Near Argos: 5/5 AC vs 4/4 LB – flawless win. See new LB on the way in. (2-1)
Rush as many units as a dare to the west. If I can destroy the incoming units, we should be okay. Big problem is the 3 Egyptian Knights. I can’t afford to let them get close enough to attack me. I can’t see any way to avoid the risk of losing one unit.
Western Battle:
5/6 AC vs 4/4 e-knight – win, -3hp. Retreat back but he is exposed to an incoming 4/4 knight. (3-1)
Decide to swap both Tequixquiac and Coyotepec from workers to walls.
IBT – 4/4 e-knight vs 5/5 AC – loss, -4hp to AC.
(4-1)
French knights don’t’ come straight in. They keep angling east across the mountains.
Greece advances 2 LBs.
Turn 151 (360 AD)
Tlat produces an AC.
Tepexpan: Harbor=>Barracks
Coyo: Walls=>Barracks
Tequix: Walls=>Settler (maybe Barracks?)
Teayo appears to be 66% corrupt. MM to the forest tiles to build the treb in 1 turn and negate growth – population is balanced at 1 happy/1 content/ 1unhappy anyway. After the treb I’ll start a CH.
No one will talk.
Rush wounded AC back to Coyo to heal. Really need a barracks here.
5/6 AC vs 3/3 e-knight – win but redline. (5-1) I see a 4/4 e-knight on the way in that will kill him. Damn. Move a 5/5 AC to cover. Hope it can hold out vs the 4/4 e-knight or at least allow the elite to retreat.
5/5 AC vs 4/4 LB by Argos – win, -2hp. (6-1)
IBT – lose 2 AC on the IBT. (6-3)
Lot of units appear – Egypt has 2 knights, 3MDI, 1 archer, 4 swords.
France has 7 swords, 2 spears.
Greece has 3 LBs
Turn 152 (370 AD)
Texcoco: LB=>Musket
Atz: CH=>Musket
Cuello: Worker=>Settler
Teayo: Treb=>Treb
Tlal: Library=>LB
No one will talk.
5/5 AC vs 3/3 e-MDI – win, -1hp. (7-3)
IBT – Greece signs Spain up against us.
Lose a 6/6 AC hiding behind a wall to a 4/4 knight attack. (7-4)
Egypt now has 4 knights, 4 swords, & 2 MDI. I can’t hold that back.
France shows same 7 swords, 2 spears.
Turn 153 (380 AD)
Tenoch: Musket=>Musket
Chalco: Treb=>Library (need culture)
Mayans have PP, Music Theory and Astro. But the Iroquois are handing them their butts everywhere I can see.
