Production Question

Hello. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or not but hope you will help me figure it out.

I've finally gotten electricity and I can't seem to find the unit "Carrier" in any of the productions for any of my cities. Is this supposed to be a unit that has prerequisites or just a glitch? I went back to a previous save before electricity and got it again, still no carriers. I've waited a couple turns after electricity and still no carrier production available in any of my cities.

Please help!

Obvious question, but I have to ask -- your cities are on a coast, right? Can you build other ships in those cities?

Plus, the tech that unlocks carriers is "electronics", not "electricity"

Electronics unlock Batlleships and Carriers.. not Electricty.
