War penalties

Question . . . when going to war are you penalized if you have any of the following in place and active when you declare war on the civ in question?

DoF (currently friends)
Trading items (silk, copper, etc...)
open borders
research agreement (likely wouldn't declare while this is in place, but if you forget or just need to start the war now)

I know you can't be in the civs borders when you declare, but the rest I am unsure of . . . I generally lineup along the border and the civ asks me if I am declaring war, which I then say yes to avoid the diplomatic penalty giving them first strike. It's the rest of the stuff above I am unsure about.

I think the diplo penalty only applies to declarations of friendship, not on any of the others. Of course, it's terribly inconvenient to lose a lux trade and a research agreement, but I think the diplo is only for friendship.

All of the above are cancelled. In respect to diplomacy you should never ever DOW a DoF.
