At last Babylon has caved into our superior military might and is now willing to negotiate peace.

We can get:
Peace Treaty

5 gpt
World Map
Territory Map
Or
Peace Treaty
26g
World Map
Territory Map
12 gpt
The Republic
BUT give Feudalism

Declaring a peace with Babylon would free up our resources to fight Rome and accelerate Roman downfall.

I'll say peace - look in the save for 310 AD. In Hairando province, there is a bowman next to Manchai, which is defended by 1 SPEARMAN! They have almost 50% of taking our city. How can we take their cities when our swords and horses are in Roman territory, and they have bowman waltzing through our territory. We need peace. :)

I'll go for the first option.

Babylon is kicking our rear in our rear, and we have achieved our only real goal with them. If we make peace, we can focus on Rome an keep our southern assets, plus Eridu. We can also get a hefty profit, and do it without breaking any treaties. I say go with it.

Babylon is not only attacking with Bowmen, but they are also pushing their culture at us. Regent Town already lost its forest to Ur and it is possible that Epolenep could lose our only horses to Akkad.

We need peace with the Babs so that we can build Libraries in Epo and Regent Town to push back culturally. We can finish off Rome and then turn around and march on Babylon.

I guess we can't get Akkad in the Peace Deal...

Ah well... do what you think is best. But let them research Feudalism On their own.

Besides, Republic isn't worth it right now...

EDIT: They're willing to back out 8 turns early?!

Well, that'll be worth a good bit. Go for it.

(Translation: We won't be breaking any treaties... but they will...)

The Republic is useless at this point. I would like to get monotheism for peace, but I would also like to focus our military on Rome. I'll have to wait for more discussion before I decide.

We can't get any techs out of this peace deal except Republic.

I, too, think peace is the way to go. It will allow us to focus on the war we wanted to fight in the first place (ie Rome), and net us a tidy profit. Take the first option.

Go for the first option before they change their mind. I'm not giving away Feudalism to them.

First option is better.
We will have free hands to fight Rome as we wanted in the first place. Babs are distracting us too much from our goals. We should deal with them when we get Samurai.
