Welcome to the Culture Ministry's Third Term thread.

This term, I plan on creating lots of culture throughout our nation and hopefully finally building a wonder. . I will also continue my culture updates, trying to get them as soon as possible after each TC.

I will be known as The Pope, Or Pope snipelfritz for this term. Why ? because I want to , and because in Civ 3 culture is very closely related to religion, and because I want to .

Rome and the Zulu are in awe of our culture. France, the Iroquois, and the Babylonians are Admirers of our culture.

Wonders

The Iroqois built the Pyramids in Salamanca in 530 B.C. They also built the Hanging Gardens in Grand River, in 250 A.D.

Babylon is built the Great Lighthouse in Nineveh, in 230 A.D.

The Zulu built the Great Wall in Zimbabwe in 510 B.C.

India built the Great Library in Delhi in 530 B.C.

The Aztecs built the Oracle in Tenochtitlan in 530 B.C.

Russia built the Colossus in Moscow in 290 B.C.

We are not building any wonders currently and do not own any.

Really I thought the Pres had to appoint them, but it doesn't matter, I still don't have anyone to appoint right now.

Is the Cultural Ministry building the model for future fast food chains to achieve cultural world domination?

No its pretty much all we can afford with our current budget, but soon we'll have a door, a desk, and maybe we'll fix that whole in the ceiling.

Yay, Ashburnham is now the deputy pope. Guess what, I'm gonna be gone next week so you'll already have something to do. I'll get some more to you on that tomorrow.

I'm in a strange mood and will now be refering to myself as The Pope, and in the third person. The Pope thanks you for bearing with his insanity.

This is deputy-pope Ashburnham reporting in. Thanks for the appointment, snipel. Glad to hear that I'll have something to do soon, other than refer to myself as Pope jr.

Is this the latest we have every been in starting and finishing our wonder?

It seems wonders just haven't been a priority so far in the DG. Hopefully that'll change this term. At the very least, the Pope's gonna want some cathedrals made.

Hey, the hollowed-out husk of our discontinued Lighthouse seemed to be a nice place to train Swordsmen.

All kidding aside, I too hope for less wasteful Wonder planning this term.

I am not going to listen to some Pope speak, I'm not Catholic.
BTW. Isn't the Pope's deputy called a Cardinal.

As The Pope has said before he will be gone for an unknown period of time starting next Monday. He is posting this as official instructions for Ashburnham:

The Pope will make sure to update the culture report after this Sunday's TC, but he requires that you do it after Wednesdays TC. It's quite simple really, open the save, go to the Culture advisor screen and copy down the information i have in my post. To make it easier on you, you can simply highlight my report, copy, and paste it in your own post, then you can scroll down and update the information. Don't feel to rushed to get this done, but try and have it done within a day of the TC. Then again if you feel like it you can do it right away.

The Pope also require you, Deputy Ashburnham, to post instructions in the TCIT, for Wednesday. The Pope doubts there will be anything to post but do whatever you need to.

Any other things that come up are within your hands. The Pope not sure what may happen, but come Monday, you are comletely in charge of the Culture Ministry.

Those are the Pope's instructions. He hopes that they aren't to hard or complicated. He will be around until Sunday night, so if you have any questions feel free to post them here.
