st444ww1NES
Welcome to my new NES. This NES is a slight alteration of the year 1915 in real life, right before World War 1. The sides have been drawn- and there is no way that diplomacy can help this all out heated dispute. Here is a brief history of how it is started-
If with some strife, Iberia(Spain-Portugal),Russia, Germany, Denmark-Norway, are allied by 1915, in the Imperial League. To counter them, Ottoman Empire, UK, France, Japan, Italy have formed the Marseilles Coalition. In April 3rd when the Austro-Hungarian emperor, Franz Iosef, is killed by an Italian nationalist in Trieste, war breaks out between the two alliances, and borders of the world are redrawn in blood...
Now its up to the rest of the nations across the world to choose what side they are on. The Imperial League- or the Marseilles Coalition. It is up to the players when the war starts- in 1915 on the first turn or 100 years later.
RULES
ARMY AND NAVY, AND SOON AIR FORCE
Will be determined by what economy you have. The higher economy, the higher troop output. Every single time you upgrade an army or navy stat, your economy level will go down 2 levels.
The army and navy is based in numbers, and has special forces for both, if you want to increase those, please specify.
ECONOMY
Simple, say you want to increase it, it's increased. It goes up by one each time it's increased and is listed numerically. You can only increase it if you're not increasing education, army, navy, or anything else the same turn.
EDUCATION
The more educated you are, the better your armies will fight. Also this will help with wonders. This is also based in numbers, and every time you increase it your economy will go down one.
AGES
Age represents your civilization's technological advancement. If you're ahead of another nation in terms of age, you have an advantage over them military wise. Each age also brings various different possibilities.
WONDERS
Tell me your specs, and I will decide how long it is to build. This can also take a hit to one of your stats, but it will make up for it in the final product.
Trade
Trade works like it does in numerous other NESes, except the numbers are slightly different. You recieve an economy level every three turns, and it costs 2 economy levels to start a trade. You must have permission from the country you wish to trade with, and you must have a feasable route through which to send the goods.
RAILROADS
Building railroads increases the speed with which your troops and people cross from one of your cities to another. Capturing key roads will slow down your enemy and disrupt his war strategy, and is vitale and can change a strategy. To build roads between one city and another will cost either one economy, ora one turn inactivity of 100 of your men. You can not build more than one road per turn, unless by way of wonder.
CITIES
You may not construct new cites, but when you capture a major or important city (ex, St. Petersburg) you can earn an economy point. Most of the time, you will gain an economy point.
GOVERNMENT AND RELIGION CHANGE
If you wish to change your government or religion, you may. You will be inactive completely for the turn after that, but will get an economy level to show a boost of productivity.
Choosing Nation- Pick a nation.
Any other questions? Please ask me ASAP so I can work out any kinks or concerns.
Happy NESing!
