C3C ~ Turn based ~ around 10pm-2am GMT ~ 2 or 3 nights a week (not weekends)

I'm not really interested in simultanious mode, so i was wondering if anyone's free around these times and interested.

I haven't played a multi-player game before so i'd like quite a relaxed time limit. I know how to play though, so don't worry about that.

A map could be decided on by everyone who's in before hand.

I'd prefer to keep the rules pretty standard (except no SGLs) though i'd be happy with multi-regicide/straight regicide.

1v1 is cool, but the more the merrier.

Anyone interested?

edit: since this forum seems a bit dead, is there anywhere else i can find players? I've got a couple of mates into the game but it'll be a while before they're up to playing me :D

I only started playing 2 days ago, and playing simultaneous is very relaxed even with a fast turn timer. You have more than plenty of time to do everything you need to do, and you'll save yourself TONS of time over playing turn-based. The game experience will be much more satisfying because you won't have to wait for 20 minutes for others to go - usually the games moves at your own pace, or a bit slower.

Actualy i'd probably be fine with the game speed quite high, i use build queues and since you can alter them while your opponents are moving their units it wouldn't be bad at all. What puts me off simultanious is the way unit movements work, not that i feel i wouldn't have time to do everything.

The fact that turn-based might take weeks and i might spend a portion of my time doing nothing (except probably reading and chatting with the other players) doesn't bother me at all.

btw, the 10-2 thing is just what times i am avaliable at, i wasn't suggesting that everybody has to be there for the full four hours.

I'll give simultanious a go if no-one's interested of course.
