*** GAME STARTED ***

Ramses will be the name of this new Mesopotamia scenario mostly aimed at all people alredy playing at least one PBEM.

It is for Conquests, using the MP version of the Mesopotamia scenario and the patch 1.22.
So you need to have both Conquests and the patch 1.22 installed on your computer.

*** special ***

All civs will start with more settlers and troops. Number of turns slightly decreased to 150.

Civs will be attributed randomly normally but you can state your prefered civ and if they don't contredict you will probably get it.

Egypt - Loulong
Mycenians - Lietkynes
Babylon - Gnarfflinger
Medes - Louis XXIV
Phenicians - Kuningas
Sumerians - Romeothemonk
Hittites - Detlef

Players : 7

1. Loulong
2. Kuningas
3. Detlef
4. Gnarfflinger
5. lietkynes
6. Romeothemonk
7. Louis XXIV

You want to be in ? You have further questions ? Post in this thread or send me a PM. If ready to join, send me a PM with your e-mail.

When the rooster is full, I will send to all of you a planning e-mail with play order, e-mails, etc...

Organization : the game will be called Ramses to be recognizable and when you get the game, send a mail to inform the sender you got it (GPS = Got it, Played it, Sent it).

I'll play. Though I'd like to start with settlers. Depends on other players.

Actually I am thinking of maybe cutting the map and let Western Anatolia, Grece and Mycenians out. Two aims : more balance (less expansion area for the Hittites and Greeks usually quiet in their own area) and less distane (I am playing the Mycenians in one such PBEM and it is pretty boring !). A third result would be 6 humans only and a faster game.
Pb : Statue of Zeus or Temple of Artemis...

Opinions welcome.

Kuningas : yes, I won't build the cities (too directive, likely lack of balance,...) I will just give an extra settler, worker, warrior.

Would like to try this one. If Mycenae is out then I'll take what I get.

Random civ me please.
Please turn Accelerated Production off. It is unholy with the wonder victory conditions.

It has been almost year when I played this scenario. I don't remember anything about AP :hmm:

Good news, we have six players!

Can I play?

I'll pretty much take any civ

OK, I had thought that since Kingstuart wanted to set up one this one would be obsolete but since we have a full house, let's go for it.

Louis XXIV, nice to have you on board !
Have you played any PBEM before ?
And can you send me a PM ASAP with your e-mail. I have i for all the others but you.

I've played PBEM games at CDG and I play in the ISDG, so I have some experience (not a lot, though)

My e-mail adress has been sent. I'll be away at school during the morning of weekdays, but I'll try not to slow the game down much.

@ LouLong: That one filled up before I could reply to it...

@ Louis XXIV: Welcome to PBEM. Nevermind the rumours, the Veterans don't really eat Newbies...

Did not know there were Civ3 PBEMs at CDG !

Anyway Planning phase mail about to be sent then I start the game as Egypt (randomization).

Note : I should edit the newbee thread with that : "Never trust Gnarfflinger when he promises not to eat you".

That is the truth but newbees, if not eaten, are skinned alive ! Do you feel any better ? lol

The one I was in died halfway through, its a shame, it was an interesting concept.

More than Gnarfflinger eating you, you should be worried that he will force you to eat vegetables. Or even worse he will continually send you emails without the game attached. HEHE. It is a bit of a running gag that Gnarf sends me 2 emails saying "here it is" before I actually get the file. (I follow Gnarf in 2 PBEM's thus increasing the fun factor.) I am not complaining, but just warning you. Brusselsprouts are good food however.
