stERZNES - 'It's a whole new world'
Welcome to my newest NES. Notihng realy to say cause the rules say it all, I like the picsI chose for each
Leadership:
Every king had advisors, every prime minister had ministers, every president had advisors... This is mostly for Story purpose but if you won't check up on them they might change by themselves and could rebelle! If they aren't very loyal, you will see ^ being added. Ones it reach 5 ^ it means they are planning somthing...
Government:
The Type of goverment is chosen by you, changing it will require stories, reason, and even than it could cause a disaster in your country! The communist in Russia had to come in a hgue rebellion, the "democratic" french fought all of europe to survive... It's hard to change goverment...
You choose what Freedoms your people, and miniorities get. You can also see what autonomies you got in your country (Usualy has a border on the map) The Influence, People and Minorities attitude to what you choose is chosen by the mod. It is bad when your minorities are Patriotic for their nationality... they will want their own nation...
The freedoms ofcourse control other aspects, like economy and culture.
Economy:
You see your Income, Outcome and trade, trade routes (added to regular trade) and colonial economy. In the end you can only use your Total... You can use all the rest of the knowledge in order to know how to grow your eocnomy. Somthimes colonies could be bad for your country, somthimes trade could be bad...
Culture:
In culture you see the rulling Nationality, the ruling religion, and your culture in a number wich you can grow. From all this togehter I say how much influence does your culture has on miniorities, on neighborse and the rest of the world... In Miniorities you see your Minorities in the same way as your own nationality, with the exact things, including the culture grow. If your miniorities influence more than you it can be bad... But if you don't take care for their own religion and culture and grow it it will be bad to... Try somthing in the middle...
Science:
In this area you can grow your Education in order to make your people smarter. The more education you got and the highest the age the better your science Inlfuence will be. More influence means sciticts will flock to your country and the faster you go in techs and ages. Speicel techs are things not invented inr eality at the time (like machine guns in the Bronze age... I don't think any of you will do it anyway).
NOTE: There are no speicel ages! This is not the real world so I won't name ages like real world. You invent weopnse and other stuff and give them to the army, but it doesn't count for new ages... You go up in technology but no in ages. This world ages will be writen in the timline.
Military:
The Milatery is cut into Army and navy (later air-force and more
). Each branch of for example, Army is cut to Foot soldeirs (like sowrdmen, archers etc...) Mounted (Like horsmen, Knights and later it will be Mechanized and tanks will be here) and Artilery (Like Balistas and catapults early, and trebuchets and Onegars later etc...). In the navy it's cut to Light ships like galleys early and frigates later, Heavy ships include battlships, catapult trirems and later carriers to... You can put into this 2 branches anything you want... Name them if you want, and say what the ship do that I will say if it's light or heavy. (Heavy ships ususaly are highly armoured and for bombarding enemy coasts and fleets while light ships are for exploring, sea battles and subs later...) Speicel is like Ironclad and was there anything else speicel? Maybe ships only ment for exploring with no battle reasening will go to speicel to.
OOC: Should Carriers be heavy ships or Speicel?
Upgrading is diffrent... For example Archers in 300BC and in 400AD had no diffrence, so you don't need to upgrade unless you invent a new king of bow and arrow wich need speicel training... But Spearmen into Hoplites in Bronze ages were very diffrent! So even thought it's the same age, it will require an upgrade.
Start of Game:
EVERYONE start the game with 10 Total economy to spend. Game starts at Bronze age in year 0 (who said Christians will exist?) Each turn is 5 years, but it doesn't realy matter... (We start in 1000 BC, but I count it as 0) Why 5 yeasr? So you could create empires in several years rather than several hundred years for just a small grouth in land... You should invent a calander that your people will know the time...
Buying lists:
Will be listed above the map in every update. As you discover new troops, and ages... (Like you can hape Hoplites in Bronze age, but you start with spearmen... you need to invent it
in stories). Buying lists will change also by ages in the amount of men you can train... It start higher than regular nes's as in about 600BC Persia actualy had more than 10,000 men in EACH of their armies... So I want to try get into this... Rome had 30,000 men per army... So amounts of grouth will be quite high... But don't push it! It won't grow by 10,000's! Yet anyway...
