The poll will determine the builds in Khazad Doom. Apparently, we want to hold the city by all costs against forthcoming siege by Immortals. We can make the city productive and grow it in size by building Temple which will claim 2 bonus tiles, we can build only minimal defenses such as walls, we can build maximal defences such as walls and barracks, or we can forfeit the development of the city by building nothing in it and keep it on workers and settlers.

Why was there no option for temple and barracks, skipping the walls...on the option that maybe we would build the aqueduct and go for size 7 population?

No barracks, we willnot be making many units in this city. We should build a temple, so that when their units are hurt, they have to go farther to heal. After that walls, we need as much protection as we can get.

I mean, barracks heal OUR wounded troops in one turn.

It is very unlikely we can build Aqueduct before the war. Just to grow to size 7 it will take a few turns and we also would need harbor apparently or irrigate all way from the northern river with marsh. We might discover Electricity sooner than finish this rather epic project. But the town might need walls and rather soon.

If we were to build an Aquaduct for Khazad-Dum, then we will also need to build a coloseum as well. This would need to wait a bit because with war upon us, it seems to a waist of money, but OTOH, it will mean we can have 2 more units than we could have before.
