New unit: Earthshaker Cannon (Nov 23, 2004)

Hi!
Here is a cannon from the Warhammer Chaos Dwarfs - Earthshaker. With this gun it really doesn't matter much if it hits or misses the target - the result is always bad in the receiving end :devil2:

Looks good, but I feel like the explosion should be more violent... however, a good, fierce sound for the gun could rectify that.

This is making it very difficult to wait for the Chaos Dwarf faction to materialize. That's one beautiful cannon. All this is making me pine for my old Blood Bowl days!

I know what you mean. But this is a big gun. And when compared the blast size to the pusher, the blast is quite large IMO

According to some pics, it seems like some sort of winch. But it looked quite silly just being there, so I added a little movement on it - consider it as some sort of auto-repeater-loading-mechanism. Thingy.

It just doesn't look like one. It is exactly that.

(afterall, the dwarfs have the marshmallow-thunderer, and in all fairness, the chaos dwarfs should have a confetti-gun)

Very nice. I like how the guy recoils when it shoots. It's too bad that you can't get the ground to shake like a nuclear explosion when this thing hits something.

I like the Death Animation with the little guy Blown off his feet as the cannon falls quickly and the wheels roll off at a slower speed...Really Nice touch. Excellent :clap:

Another beauty Aaglo! -- Although (being more historically minded than otherwise) I'm reminded of the RON Basilica Bombard and can somehow easily imagine your gun before the gates of Constantinople in 1453 ...
