Remember the Trade deputy from term 3, well he is back to do more good for the great citizens of Japanatica.
The most important goal that is to make up the most prosperous nation in the world. To get their we must be the wealthiet, the most knowlegdeable, and the happiest nation on this world. One thing that I would like to see this great nation of ours is for us to be a Democracy, this will help make our goal so much easier to achieve. I even started up some threads to guage the WOTP on some various trad issues. They are Communication trades] and Indian Trade. In fact as a reult our forward thinking, we were the best run ministry.

I have past experience in this game so I think that should count alot for your vote.

At the time of posting you have a one vote lead, so it is a very close race, the closest of the lot. Who ever wins will have the lead of an exiciting ministry. Vote for me Classical Hero and I will not let you down.

I closely observed the Demogame for month by now. I know many governors and ministers and regularly chat with them, you should do that, too, probably you would then know me.

You should talk about my qualification, not question the status of a young citizen. This is really disturbing and saddening!

I met the same prejudice when I burst into office Term 1 as Foreign Affairs.
I think people have led lives before they pursued the esoteric hobby of forum based civ games, so I take track record in forum games as a so-so qualification.
However, I think both Longasc and Classical_Hero are both well suited for their human and Civ-qualities, as well as general insight in other walks of life.

It's not so much as your qualifications it's that we haven't heard your opinions on any current events in the DG.

Maybe you should talk about your qualifications. Classical Hero has proven himself time and time again to be devoted and competent throughout the DG. I've seen you post maybe twice in the whole DGV forum. Then you come to run for a pretty important position (considering our's nation's role as semi-tech leader and major luxury exporter), and you present no platform whatsoever. Classical Hero has proven himself time and time again to be devoted and competent throughout DGV.

Can we knock it off with all the conspiracy talk? ... Let's not have an "old vs new" split -- that is what discourages newcomers.

I am not talking about a conspiracy, if this comment was specifically directed at me. I was talking about friend's of Longasc voting for him, when he doesn't make any effort to actually run for office. It's not a conspiracy because we all know it is going on.

Citizens will frequently vote based on personal feelings rather than reputation of a candidate or the platform he or she puts up. The problem is that Longsac has no reputation in DGV, no platform, and has not tried at all to fix this.

Cheiftess, you talk about an 'old vs. new' split. This is it right here. If someone who hadn't been on the CivFanatics Board for that long (a n00b), tried to run for such an important position without any platform or rep., do you think he or she would have a chance? As a n00b, I am discouraged that someone can show up, sit down on a chair without a word, and have his friends pick him up and carry him into office. I am discouraged that you, Cheiftess, would deny that it is happening. Furthermore, you try to make Longasc out to be the victim. The red/bold text also irks me (ha! didn't swear!).
