One thing, though. The patch includes news versions for the different Game.txt files. I would actually recommend that you do NOT use them. The patch will work perfectly fine without them, using just the replacement civ2.exe.
The only difference of those text files is that the prompt you'd get if you choose to create a custom size map will say the max is 32,767. Without those new text files it will still say 10,000 (while it has really become 32,767).
The reason why I suggest you don't use them is because Julius Brenzaida, the guy who made the patch, had actually made more changes to these text files, which are unrelated to this patch.
