Norse Village

Don't know if one exists already, don't really care. I just spent 4 or 5 hours hand pixeling this thing in on The Gimp, from scratch (except that large building, which you may notice bears a remote semblance to an AoM temple, since that is where it's from. sort of.) because I am awesome, and that is what us awesome people do. So, having said that, here you go, some vaguely vikingish buildings crammed together in a vaguely cityish way.
*Update: Alright, touched it up a little and added a small walled version.

Very cool. You should have posted this under Graphic Modpacks though, that's where new graphic additions belong to (and threads don't expire there). A moderator will probably pick this up and move it.

My only criticism is that I would have made the yellowish dirt lightbrownish to make it feel more scandinavic. The yellow dirt makes me think of Africa by default. Other than that, great job (and the dirt thing isn't really anything major, just a matter of preferences)

Hmm. I just saw a couple other cities posted on the main board and I figured it was safe to set it down here. I plan on changing the dirt to a dark brown with more green bits when I do the walled version...if I get to that. I was a little too drawing'd out though. I posted a preview of a pic in another thread, and I'm not sure exactly how I did that. Advice?

I guess the other city graphics were preview threads where the author asks for feedback on the graphics. If these aren't the final version, it's ok for this thread to be here. Just make a new one to Graphic Modpacks when you are satisfied with the graphics.

As for the previews... Attached pics don't load automatically if the post contains more than one attachment. You can either accept this and people need to click on the link to see the preview or you can make two posts with one attachment in each. I guess this is what you were after, but I may have misunderstood you.

I think those are really good little villages. More please!

The alternative is to use the "Upload File" feature at bottom of page, and linking to multiple such files in the body of the post.

The city gfx are good.
