Yeah, it's I, the great Kulade again. This time I've made an edit to my eariler urban graphics. The major changes are the buildings and the roads. Buildings are now the same as in the Industrial Sprawl type railroads and the roads are pavement with lines and such.

Readme included. I think...

The roads seem out of poropotion to the rest of the set....

That is an issue, see the roads have to be one square, but I don't want much space in between the buildings and pavement so it ends up like that... :sad:

Looks good....but in the future don't post preview as a picture but as a link because here are some people with dial-up including me.

@Corey
Sorry 'bout that, I just want it to big enough to see all the stuff, but its over the limit for the attachments. :cool:
@MSTK
Keep in mind that my key art program is MS paint! :D It's hard to make every thing look this pretty! But I'll see what I can do. :)

Get the Gimp, Kulade. Jeesh.

@Ekmek
I was thinking about that, and maybe I'll make it so there is only one building per square.

@Goldflash
I have Gimp
I have Paint Shop Pro
I have I-mage
I just don't know how the hell to use them! :D

It only matters that you know how to use Paint:thumbsup:

@kulade

Save your preview pictures as jpegs and compress/resize them! There is absolutely no point in wasting one meg of Thunderfall's server space for a preview pic! I still remember that urban graphics thread from early december where you uploaded 7 megs of preview pics (3 pics in total). Do you realize what would happen if everyone would do that?

It's not hard to do it, just select different format (jpeg) when saving the pic.

For example, in Paint shop pro. Open pic and select "save as"
Select "JPEG - JFIF Compliant (*.jpg,*.jif,*.jpeg)" from the drop down menu
Then select "options" and give it ~10 compression factor.

Then save the pic. As a result, it takes ~250KB instead of 1 meg it currently takes.

I love the terrain. :) Been playing KingArthur's marvelous Zombie mod, it works great. The advantage of the big roads is that units (esp tanks) fit well on them.

If you do change anything I think changing the buildings rather than the roads is a much better idea.
