Evening guys and gals,

I posted these already but that thread started to look a little...messy.
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=106970

Here are some adjustments; I added trees to the cities(I have a bit of the tree-hugger lurking within ;) )and fixed the walls.

p.s. don't worry about the green background...it works normally ingame(I don't know why, but it does :crazyeye: ).

edit: another variation on post #9 :)
edit #2: a tribute to Ur Mum on post # 20 ;)

very nice.

if i may make some constructive critism:

i dont like the huge temple thing in the modern era metropolis. it's a bit too big. the one above in the idustrial era is ok. perhaps if u make it the same size as that and put a couple more houses in to fill the gap.

but other than that, i like it. very cool.

do you mean this?

thanks for the comments, Ur Mum. As for the temple, it's actually a Ziqqurat(sp.?)and was a very important religious fixture in the ancient city of Ur. As both Sumeria and Babylon are a couple of my favorite civ's I thought it rather appropriate.

The original graphics(from which I cut n' pasted) were converted by LPBP here:

thats right. i like them. dont remove it cos it looks cool. just a bit too big is all. just make the last one a bit smaller. if it was the same size as the one above then that'd be cool.

:hmm: maybe not a bad idea. I'll see what I can do tonight.

a "greener" variation:

Edit 12/25/2004: I noticed while playing that part of the city showed up in the town ingame...this should fix that. If someone could please check ingame I would be most appreciative. :mischief:

and I'll soon have another for Ur Mum...

excellent. like the trees :D

*hugs nearby tree*

looking forward to the smaller temple structure. :D

For Ur Mum(love that name  )

Rather than resize the Ziqqurat in the modern age metropolis(it is the same size as the Ziqqurat in the industrial age metro), I decided to crowd it in with apartments...I like to think of it as the high-rent district ;) . What do you think? I'll continue to work on it...

EDIT: alright! Is anyone else having problems trying to "manage attachtments" tonight?! My friggin' window won't even pop!

thanks. i love this name too. it's my xbox live gamertag. (come join a Halo 2 game with me sometime.)

hope u get the attachments sorted. i like the sound of what u've written.

Ok...my wife was able to fix the problem...you can see an updated version on post #9...and I'm still working on the smaller Ziqqurat...

yes, loving this. much better. looks like a proper city now.

maybe not. she might have just helped with something else to get it working.

and for Ur Mum:
