You wanna a revolution?Or a "cultural one"?
Oh,yeah!A new variant,Cultural Revolution!
For History Accuracy,player civ is China,Rules:
1.Gov selection:dep->Monarchy->Communism(Another Accuracy)
2.The revolution must be "cultural",thus player must elimate all previous culture building,including Disbanding Capitol! :eek: When the new government is established.
3.So palace jump at least twice.
4.(Edit)No intensionally avoid Communism simply to retain Monarchy culture longer,making it more clear,no Industrialization before communism government.

I'd like to start this on Jan 3rd.

Difficulty/Map Size/other stuff? Only reservation is that GOTM38 is also China so I might get confused if I sign up!

Neil. :cool:

@eldar:Interested?I'm very interested in that history period in China(1966-1976,roughly).Maybe a hot topic between Maoists.BTW,who can post or PM me a good reference link?I'm confused of that story,and Chinese governmental material just hid too much reality.

Explaining the Game:Game will be on Emperor,Pangaea,Standard,and Random.
A bit barbaric while we have to disband our capital after revolution.I'd like to play with a team of 5-6,on C3C 1.22f.Final rules need a bit of discussion if more people show their interest.

So it's a no-wonder-building game.You must destroy all things with former culture:Temple/Cathedral/Library/University must be sold,capital must be torched,and if you build Sm Wonder/Gr Wonder,you have to torch the whole place with former glory...

That means players cannot build Gr Wonder in AA and MA(Who dare?),mostly no small wonder(It's really a waste if you have to torch an FP city),and we can only build culture safely when we finally make Communism.

@DocT:You mean that we also keep Forbidden Palace?Realisticly say,Chinese Communist Party Headquarter stays in it from the day it governs. ;)
But That makes game rather easy,and I had to admit cultural revolution lost its aim,since there's almost no culture to destroy before revolution. :) :blush:

EDIT:Added rule: Be Defiant against culture leaders(the first 3 that we know,except ourselves).To reflect Mao's policy against big guys.
