I haven't seen an easter eggs thread here, so here it is.

I am playing Scandinavia (Vikings), Princess and Mass Regicide, PBEM. I just entered the Industrial era, and all my King and Princess units (including all captured ones) have turned into Elvis!

Any other known Easter Eggs out there?

Here is a screenie:

This happened today, yes. I entered the Industrial era two days ago, but didn't notice the change until today. I'm not always a very astute observer though.

I don't know if it "only" happened today. Are some Easter Eggs calendar-triggered?

I wish I could post a sound file. When I fortify him, Elvis says something like "Thank you, thank you very much. Hey, have a lot of pride in the name of Sanders." Or perhaps, "in the day of Santers." Or Santa? Is there a Santa Claus easter egg out there?

"Thank you, thank you very much. Hey how 'bout a fried banana sandwich"

There is a Greek great leader named Aeson, and a Scandinavian city named Thunderfall. I don't know if that would be considered an easter egg, though.

I heard that there is a Greek city named Apolyton...

Perhaps. There are a whole lot of Greek city names, though, so it might take quite a large empire before it would get built. Has anyone ever had a New Athens? I have not.

So that's it!

I was trying to play a LOTR scenario but suddenly Gandalf and Denethor were Elvis... weirded me out!

And you get "Neo Tokyo" instead of New Tokyo as the Japanese.

Don't forget the city 'Not Constantinople' ;) (I think it's either Byzantine or Ottoman, I can't remember).
It's Ottoman, replacing "New Istanbul".

There's also a forest tile one which you can barely make out the letters "AMANDA", apparently the name of the daughter of one of the gfx guys.

The Ottomans have "Not Constaninople" in place of "New Istanbul," while the Byzantines have "Not Instanbul" in place of "New Constaninople."
