I agree with Plotinus. Otherwise I like the model very much, especially the tiled sail, :) but I think that your units generally would be better if you used anti-aliasing, now it flickers a bit....

The c3c longboat is better. And if you don't have C3c, you're antiquated.

Also, that adjective should be Norse. Norwegian works, but Norse has less letters, and less is more.

I agree that the C3C longboat is better as a UU, but that ship still looks good as a flavour unit for the galley... :)

I disagree about Norse, as that includes the Danes too. the vikings already have a civ, after all.

I don't use anti-aliasing, cos I have problems with the pallete, I tried correct it time ago, some posters helped me, but I was not able to solve the problem :(

@Goldflash: I can't use the C3C Viking Longboat, cos it is illegal I post this unit in CFC to be used in the Norwegian Civ to PTW and Vanilla. People who have C3C can do the replacement, but people who don't have this one can't.

Why have you chosen Eric the Red as king? He was never a king, but an outlaw. He grew up on Iceland (his father was wanted for murder in Norway), but had to flee because he too murdered. So he fled to Greenland and started a colony there - later his son, Leif den lykkelige, sailed to America.

I choice him, cos he was a famous viking and would be cool have his LH. Maybe in the future I could do other great leaders of Norway :)

In Portuguese he is known how "Eric, o vermelho" or "Eric, the red" in translation into English. I'm sure this red means de blood in his axe, so, they r the same person. :)
BTW, thanks for the city and leaders list

It would be absolutely perverse if "Eric o vermelho" refered to Eric Blood-axe rather than Eric the Red.

Eric Blood-axe was probably the son of Harald Finehair, and appears to've reigned in Norway for a while in the first half of the 10th century. Then in mid-century, after having been driven out of Norway by Håkan Adalsteinsfostre (don't know his English name), he established himself as king of Jorvik (York).

Eric the Red was a Norwegian chieftain who was exiled to Iceland for manslaughter. There he was forced into exile again after another manslaughter, whereupon he went to the recently discovered Greenland with his followers to become the first Scandinavian colonists there.

Blood-axe is no doubt the better choice as a Norwegian LH of the two, but there are better options, like Harald Finehair, Olav Tryggvason, or Harald Hardrada.

So, they are two different Erics. I'm using the title and name King Eric, so, cos this it is not possible to know with he is The Red or The Bloodaxe. I didn't find any real image of Eric, the Red, so, I used some draws like reference to create my LH. In game, people who play with this LH can image with this Eric is The Red or the Bloodaxe :)

His face looks very shinmey. Maybe you should decrease the light some.
