I really don't think the option for no as 'because I'm stupid' is really all that appropriate considering I actually find it quite smart to stay away from the DG's constant bickering and political side shows that show how idiotic such intelligent people can make themselves look.

Edit: I forgot to mention that more people would probably join the demogame if at their first glance they didn't see half of the threads filled with complete BS and the other half filled with complaints about mods, conspiracies, and God knows what else.

I'm sure DG can be fun, but I think the option 'Because DG is not appealing' is probably the option I would pick. Even though I do check in on it from time to time to let out a laugh and snicker or two.
 
Well maybe some people have other commitments and are too busy to play demogame. surely the 'i'm stupid' option doesn't cover that.

There is a readme, yes! :) Link to Readme. If you have more questions, you can ask them there and we'll help you out.

We're planning DG (demogame (Game of Democracy)) 6 now, and it's set to start March 1st.

And basically, the game is a game of civ where we play it 10 turns at a time and discuss what to do as a group: what to research, where to build cities, etc. It's fun.
 
My sergeant in basic training was friendlier to me than the tone of players in the demogame is.

The options given to vote are crap. You are smart if you are not foolish enough even to try to participate.
 
Chill out, people. Its just a joke. Actually, its a shameless ploy to advertise and create interest in said Demogame, which seems to be working.

If a moderator could change the first option to "because i've never heard of it" and add another "because of time constrainsts" option(if possible), it would appear that it would be much appreciated.
 
One thing that we need to do is try and get as many people involved in the game as possible. We had a low participation rate even though we had alot of citizens. We must be friendlier in this game because the last game was one of the most bitter games I have ever been involved in.
 
I checked it out once but never joined. I have to say, the conversation in this thread doesn't really do a very good job of endorsing it.
 
I joined once but it was prtty boring
