Wow this died before it started. usually it would take at least a couple of days of playing before it dies.

Sorry about not saying anything; I'm still making the dungeon. :)

OK, let's get started!

You find yourself in what seems to be a very hospitable town. A large fountain stands next to you. Various stores and taverns are all around. In front of you is a nice-looking commoner. What do you do?

Indeed! What do you say to him?

Sorry to "hijack" the thread but they might be more popular if a simpler, faster system was used (eg. the Fighting Fantasy roleplay [like the books, only for more than one person and a GM] wich i have the rules to, very simple and self explanatory, very suitable for forums), i have nothing againgst D&D but i just don't have the time to play it on CFC and some find it too comlex ;)

Why are you using one of R. A. Salvatore's Character's he's like an epic level character. and he's an assasin not a warrior, or do you mean Fighter? and only Ranger gets favored enemy. You cant just get such a powerful weapon on 1st level. and it's spelled Charon's Claw

"Let me tell you, strange things have been afoot in the forest to the south. A hunter by the name of Brox went in there last week...and never returned. I'll be in the tavern if you need to know anything more." He gives a gruff grunt and walks into a building to the east.

It has begun, but anyone can play.

The man waves you over to have a drink with him. "Ah, I see you have come for more," he says, a frothy residue remaining on his lips. "I'll tell you this: Over the past few years we have had numerous reports of shadowy creatures on our borderlands. They would appear to be harmful, but we don't know anything more than that. What was left of the victims..." He looks down at his drink. "They were nothing more than nonsense-gibbering fools by the time we got to them. Almost as if their own heads were...no. I don't want to think about it. Anyway, Brox. He has long said that there was evil that lurked in the forest to the south. I am glad that you two are here. Perhaps you could do a favor."

He now puts his mug down. "You have to save Brox. He has no idea what he's getting into."

You stand at the edge of the forest. Two paths lead into the dark wilderness beyond. One has a large oak at the beginning; the other has a dead log.

I played in the last D&D game someone tried to run on this forum. It just fails. Suggest you move to somewhere with a dice roller built into the forum, like here.
