There are no Problems, but I have another request.

First, I have to say: I changed the map a little. Some changes are specific to that scenario wich is using this map, some others are geographical corrections. "My version" is still unfinished, but some of these changes are hopefully visible in the attachement.

Here is my request: Could you make an other map, same section, but twice as big (something around 140 x 140). I will need both versions for my running scenario-project. This second (larger) map needs more details, more original geography and so on. No SPs needed, no ressource placement needed, no rules changings needed. Simply a high detailed and in most parts very correct map of that area. You could take all the time you may need, there is no preasure - the map will not be included before the beta test is running successfully. Thanks in advice.

[edit: attachement didn't work. I got a error400 message :confused: . I will try again later.
edit2: Now it works.]

I like your changes, from what I see you added some water (Caspian Sea and Persian Gulf), changed the start locations, and added more mountains.

Sure, I'll get started on the big map. I'm curious, what's this for, or is it a secret?

There is no secret. I am working (well, actually I'm NOT working becouse some RL things don't let me do something for Civ :rolleyes: ) on a Bronze Age scenario. If you understand reading german, you could follow the german project-thread in our forums. Later, I hope, this time the scenario will be translated into english, but probably without the longer pedia texts, wich are actually not written, even not in German. ;)

For the changings you are right. I have added some montains, for example on the edges from the map (I hate settlements on that places. ;)) and have some coastlines changed too. Becouse of adding Persian Gulf and Kaspian Sea I still have to replace Euphrat and Tigris and this again leads to further changings... If you are interested in that changings, you may look at this attachement in our forums. Its the same like above, but scaled up to 150%. However, it's a big help, what you had done (and probably will do). It allready saved me a lot of time.

@varwnos: That reminds me of when, a few months ago, everyone was playing on a tiny pangaea with 31 civs :crazyeye: . I guess you could try it with all 31, but you might want to put the difficulty level below normal if you do.
@Arne: Cool! Here's the map, I hope it's okay.

This map might work well for the "Exodus of the Hebrews" scenario I'm working on. I'll have to download it when I get home and check it out. Looks like It'll have good starting locations for the Egyptians, Greeks, Chaldeans(Babs), Philistines, Phoenicians(Carthage), Hittites, Assyrians, Amorites, and Persians. Am I missing any at that time?

Looks very good. I'm a big fan of Mesopotamian maps (*cough*check sig*cough* :mischief: )
