In R1P1P1G1 I am appearing as Japan, and Fab Blaker Boy is appearing as... well... everyone else

In R1P1P1G2 the roles are reversed.

Well, even though Aeon will be kicking my NEWBEE butt all over the Pacific, this whole tourney thing has been a GREAT learning experience. I know, I know - it's like entering the WORLD CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP and figuring out, "OK, how does the Knight move, again?" So - thanks to LOULONG for the great idea, and to AEON for tolerating my idiocy.

(Is "Village Idiot" an option of player level instead of, say, Monarch?

In Round 1 of GAME 1 (Blake as JAPAN, Gene as ALLIED): I have managed to take a few choice cities, reinforced a few strongholds, and nearly decimated a MAJOR American position. (I'll let Aeon figure out the details. Mwa ha ha ha!)

In Round 1 of GAME 2 (Gene as JAPAN, Blake as ALLIED): Frankly, I am SO HOSED. That's all I gotta say! (I think I spent the entire turn licking my wounds and asking mommy for more milk...)

So... we're off and running. Mark you ballot for AEON to win this baby... but you can bet I'll be following carefully!

Is there anything I can do to help you learn how to play? If you read the War Academy posts, you should find some really helpful stuff!

Sorry - just now read your posts and I will be MUCH better the next turn (but not this one, since I just read your post) about writing down EVERYTHING in terms of damage reports. For real, bad habit I fell into which I'll get out of!

Here's the funny stuff, though: You are so THOROUGHLY kicking my butt, it's almost funny! (Actually, it *is* funny...)

OK, with you playing JAPAN and me trying to scrape by and be ALLIED... the current VP rating is:

FEB, 1942: ALLIED=1190 JAPAN=13015

(Here's the hilarious part - during *MY* last turn, *YOU* actually gained more VP than me!)

So, for every time I manage to sneak a VP from you - you are getting like 11. At this rate, you'll win in about 8.5 more turns! Awesome!

With the roles reversed, I may be in the lead - but it's *such* a pathetic lead:
