This is the spoiler thread for what I hope will be a glorious victory for Japan.

I anticipate Augurey to start a similar thread for the other game.

December 1941 has been played, and is being sent to Augurey as I write this.

Here's what I did:

Guam: Taken, 1 infantry killed

Foochow: Taken, harbour destroyed, Infantry and guerilla killed.

Aparu: Granary destroyed. I dropped the ball there.

Hong Kong: Coastal fortres destroyed.

Pearl Harbour was a total bust. Killed 2 fighters, lost 2 zeros and 3 bombers. destroyed the barrack...

Bhuket taken, one infantry killed.

Killed an infantry near Kuala Lampur.

Davao Taken: Killed an infantry and a destroyer.

Probably not the best start, but I hope to kee the heat on Augurey whent eh turn gets back to me.
 
It might be you might want to post something like *** SPOILER *** in the beginning of the thread title to make sure that your opponent is well aware of it and will not see anything. But IMO, you have done it very well for the first turn. :)
 
Actually, I've pasted the same battle report I included in the e-mail to Augurey. I think I may have messed up the save name when I sent the first turn though, thinking that the p's were for pairing and player rather than pool and pairing...
 
Augurey had to resign due to personal reasons, but Hawklord has aggreed to replace him. Hope I can make this competitive...
 
Didn't cature anything, not enough troops but dinted the niponese forces a bit.

Battle report:

Honalulu: killed one fighter, lost one bomber and damaged most of your fleet.

Apparri: destroyed most of your fleet, killed one light tank trying to invade.

Wake Island: Killed one fighter and one infantry

Hong Kong: Taken.

Near Kaifeng: Lost 1 bomber but killed 2 infantry and a guerilla.

Also killed something near Kuala Lampur, I think it was an ANZAC.

I forgot to check the VP totals at the end, but I think that as the Allies he's doing better than I did, and as the Japs he's doing better than I did...

In a major naval action the invading Japanese fleet was decimated by air and sea attack.
Japanese losses ammounted to 6 ships. Battleship, 2 x Aircraft carrier, 3 x Destroyers were sunk. US forces indicate that the Japanese fleet will be destroyed next month if it remains in the vicinity of Honolulu.
The only US cassualty was 1 Sub missing in action, presumed lost.

Midway Another sub lost in a brave attempt to sink invading Japanese destroyers.

Honolulu Last Aircraft carrier sunk. In a mopping up action US air units destroyed the last of the invading Japanes fleet. Repairs are being carried out and our men are determined to avenge this cowardly attack. :ar15:

I really wish I'd had more experience with this scenario before the tournament.

Davao In an invasion of Davoa Island 2 anzak and 2 mgs were killed in a brave attack. The Japanes marines were fanatical fighters and put up a tough fight.
Truk Better news here. Lost anzak but killed MG and flak to capture city.

China
Foochow A brave chinese infantry ignored orders to lay siege to the city and was lost in a futile assault. We understand their desire to recapture our country but will not put up with disobediance like this.
Taiun Killed 2 green NI but lost 1 infantry.
