Kamikaze Contest: El_Tigre (Japan) vs. classical_hero

This is the tracker and turn report thread for r1p1p3g2.

China:
Sian conquered. One Nipp. Infantry lost.
All guerillas I could grasp and several infrantry units killed without losses.

Burma and Malay:
I lost a Nipp. Infantry while attacking Rangoon, then some light tanks took
the city.
Bhuket fell to a light tank.
ANZAC Infrantry east of Bhuket destroyed.

Borneo:
A lucky Marine took Sibu and destroyed a DD and some airplanes.

Philippines:
Aparri, Manila and Davaos conquered by Marines from Taiwan, Saigon and
Palau. No losses thanks to heavy naval and aerial bombardment.
Light tank next to Manila destroyed.
US fleet south of the Philippines damaged.

Pacific:
2 marines conquered Guam, another 2 Wake Island. Sub south of Guam
destroyed.
Pearl Harbor: one BB slightly damaged, 2 Wildcats destroyed, heavy damage
to the city. 1 Bomber lost. One Submarine south of PH killed.

Whenever I play as Japan, things never go that well for me.

I have to confess that I took my chances with Wake and Sibu, but my other
conquests seem to be rather standard.

Status Report
I have killed two subs that were near the coast of Honolulu. Not much else from the Americans.
The commonwealth have bombarded unit on the malay penisula. Many are redlined.
China have bombarded a some units to red and killed some nips. I have lost one infanty to a redlinded nip.
The Dutch have done nothing.

- Hankow, Nanning and Foochow taken
- several Guerilla and Infantry killed in China + bombed and pillaged some roads
- Mandalay taken
- Infantry conquered Kuala Lumpur
- Tenate stormed by Marines, Boela by Paratroopers
- Puerto Princess invaded (empty)
- sunk 2 Dutch DD, 2 subs near Midway and 1 east of Davao
- Pearl Habor: destroyed several bombers and fighters + Barracks an Civil
Defense are gone

GPS.

Status report. The allies have had their first conquest. The Dutch have taken the City of Sibu. A light tank was all that was needed to kill the marine. The allied offensive is on. The Commonwealth have started to get their act together. We have killed the unit near KL and redlined the others. China couls soon have an army of It's own soon because it has two elit LT's. We have been killing many Nip Inf's. Enjoy the save.

With regards to the other Game, I am having trouble setting it up so hopefully I will be able to set it up soon. We shall continue this game and once I have set up the game, we shall try and get it up to where this game is.

- you shouldn't have moved your units out of Singapure: A Nipp. Infantry
bypassed your units, destroyed the Flak and took the city. One (?) BB was
sunk and MANY airplanes have been destroyed on the ground. Killed the 4
ANZAC Infantry and the Combat Engineer outside the city afterwards.
Captured an Artillery
- Myitkyina bombarbed, then taken by two Infantry. The British presence on
the mainland is over

I don't think so: your elite tanks have been destroyed, my two armies and
several Infantry attacked and took Taiyuan after heavy bombardment.

- the Japanese High Command is pleased to see that Chengdu, Lanchow and
Chunking are rioting. Furthermore, all your cities are disconnected (again)
- fighter squadron west of Kunming destroyed, worker next to the airfield
captured. After that I bombed and took Kunming from the west, no losses.
4 Chinese cities left...

Indonesia:

- Kudat bombed by Artillery and taken
- Sibu (now Dutch) bombed by my fleet, redlined both CAs
- Ketapang bombed by DD and Bomber. Granary destroyed, sub damaged.
Airdrop next to the city
- Dongala (undefended) taken. The captured Artillery shelled some roads on
Borneo

Pacific:

- a MG Battalion moved into Tarawa (undefended)
- Midway bombed by my fleet: Radar Tower and Fighter Squadron destroyed,
defenders redlined
- lost a DD to one of yours north of Hilo
- Honolulu: 3 citizens killed, granary and temple destroyed, some fighters
damaged, I lost 2 fighters

The Allies attack.

The Americans have destroyed three destroyers near Honolulu and WI. A sub was killed outside of Honolulu. We are stating our fightback.
The Commonwealth building their forces, We were able to bombard a unit outside of a Dutch city for their easy disposal.
The Chinese are screwed. We were able to destroy a few Nips, not like that will help.
The Dutch seem to be doing a bit better than the rest of the allies. We defeated that weakened Nip outside of Boela and we destroyed a Paratrooper outside of Ketapang. We retreated a nip outside of Sangkoelirang.

- the Chinese capital fell this turn! Two NI lost, 1 Inf. and a Flak destroyed
- killed 4 Chinese Infantry, captured 1 Artillery near Lanchow. Heavy losses: 2
NI and an elite LT!
- Lanchow bombarded, Bomber destroyed, Infantry wounded
- 3 Chinese cities left, China won't survive the next turn

CW:
- Rabaul conquered, no losses. A CW sub was sunk in port
- SS Taurus sunk near Borneo

US:
- Midway stormed by Marines, no losses
- CA Honolulu sunk, 1 DD lost
- BB Arizona sunk by Bombers
- CA Helena sunk
- a Japanese CA lost against DD Shaw, no damage!
- Honolulu bombarded, Airplanes damaged, Bomber lost

NL:
- Ketapang stormed by Marines, DD and Sub sunk in port
- LT on Borneo killed by Marines
- Dutch Infantry on Borneo killed by LT, VP location conquered
- cut roads on Sumatra with Artillery from Singapore
- Marines killed an Infantry in Menado
- Sibu bombed and conquered
