Report.
Attacks on Americans.
The attack on PH did not go as planned. We killed a few aircraft for the loss of two bombers and a zero. The Bombardment was mainly by the navy. All ships are redlined in PH. The attack on Manilla did not go as planed. We destroyed a destroyer. The American forces in the Pacific are desimated. They only have a GI that is useful. That Tank outside of Manilla should not be there, but it still is, Stupid RNG. I lost a LT to it, even though it had been bombarded.
Attacks on the Commonwealth.
These attacks have been much better than first planned. We have taken much more than I thought was possible.
Attacks on China.
These went as planned with the taking of Sian. There are no more units outside of Sian near the city of Kaifeng. An infantry was wonded outside of Hankow.
GPS to my wonderful foe.

Not much happened.

US:
-Submarine south of Honolulu destroyed
-sunk transport west of Manila
-tried to recapture Aparri in a daring attack (1hp Tank vs. 1hp Marine), but failed
-bombed your fleet north of Honolulu with ships and airplanes

CW
-killed a DD near Singapore
-bombed all your rubber resources. No fancy sticks for the Japanese military
the next few turns...

China:
-bombed some roads and units, you nothing but a couple of hitpoints

Dutch:
-nothing

Singapore is already heavily besieged, but the China and Burma front look
good (at least after the first turn).

Status Report from the Japanese.

Cities Taken.
Singapore
Manilla
Mendano

The Americans.
I have destroyed that GI outside of Aparri. I kindly thank you for the kind gifts of those two artillery, they will come in quite handy in the long run. More Bombardment happened to Honolulu. I have destroyed two fighters, but only redlined the ships inside. I was able to destroy a Submarine out side of Manilla. I can't remember It's name.

The Commonwealth.
All units inside of Singapore were destroyed. I was able to destroy a sub and a cruiser outside of Singapore. Outside of Rangoon, I was able to destroy an ANZAC and injure two others. Thanks for the artillery in Singapore.

The Dutch.
I sank a Sub. I'm sure that is all the losses. I was able to injure an infantry near Sibu. I also thank you for giving me an artillery for use against you.

The Chinese.
I was able to kill all but one infantry in Taiyuan. I killed and infantry in fortress near Sian, Kaifeng and Hankow, and between the Border of China and Japan. I injured units near Hankow, Taiyuan, inside of Foochow, and that pesky infantry just inside the Chinese border.

Japan's losses.
one Paratrooper against Singapore. One Nip against an infantry unit in a fortress. One bomber and one Zero against Honolulu. One LT against Taiyuan.

Enjoy.

US:
- lost a DD against a Transport near Davao, sunk it with a second
- lost a DD against a sub north of Tarawa
- lost 2 Bombers against your Pearl Harbor strike force

CW:
- some bombardment near Rangoon

China:
- bombarded and captured your Artillery stack south of Taiyuan (1 Infantry lost)
- bombarded your Army in Kaifeng with your own Artillery, 3hp left
- bombarded NI near Kunming, Nanning and Kaifeng

NL:
- lost a Sub to one of yours north of Singapore
- pillaged roads on resources in Borneo. Do you need oil and rubber?!

I have a problem with the save that you sent me where I am Japan. You seemed to have sent the game while as the Americans. Can you please resend the correct save after playing as Holland.

Will do it as soon as I can (approx. 1 hour). Sorry!

I wouldn't mind if you continue the other game instead, if you want to.
I almost did not want to continue the other game because I am doing so poorly, but it is only fair that the evidence can show that I did better overall. :D :mischief:

Can you try to re-open the save I sent you? When I loaded it, the Dutch
pw-screen popped up, but my pw didn't work. The next thing I saw was the
Japanese pw-screen. I loaded it again and the Japanese screen came up
immediately. It seems to be a bit buggy, but apparently it's the correct save.

GPS
I have played the save.

Action. The Chinese.
The city of Taiyuan will be mine very soon. I think there is only one infantry left., but it did way too much damage to my forces. I was able to get a MGL from attacking Taiyuan. :D I have destroyed the forces inside the fortress that had my artilleries in there, so they are now mine again.

The Commonwealth.
The Offensive for Ranggon is on. I have bombarded rangoon a bit, but not much. There was a sub that I destroyed that was outside of Singapore.

The Americans.
We have destroyed two Destroyers outside of Sangkoelirang. I killed a sub, but not sure where.

The Dutch.
Bombardment of Palembang and the MG near kudat.

My losses.
Two LT's attacking Taiyuan.
A few Nip against same city.
A few Bombers attacking various cites.
One destroyer attacking one of the Destroyers near Sangkoelirang.

I am sorry about the lack of info, but I forgot what I did.

So you attacked with those badly damaged elite LTs -and it payed off! :(

I am sorry about the lack of info, but I forgot what I did.
You can alt-tab between Civ and Notepad to keep notes, but the game
once crashed when I did it some time ago, so I can't really recommend alt-
tabbing.

US:
-air strike against Kido Butai: CA sunk, several escorts and a CV damaged. No
losses

CW
-units next to Rangoon bombarded

China:
- captured those Artys AGAIN
- used them and other Artilleries to bombard and then kill a NI Army
- bombarded LT near Nanning

Dutch
- bombarded Paratrooper near Dongala
- bombarded a CA in Singapore

VP: Japan 13820, Allies 2730

I have decided to fold after this turn because the RNG was absolute BS this turn. The losses that happened this turn a complete load of BS and with that, the chances of winning are now impossible.

Have a good go at Misfit.

If you attacked Rangoon, then it wasn't the fault of the RNG: across a river,
walls, civil defenses, radar tower, fortified. You can reconsider, if you want...

If not, I wish you luck for all your other PBEMs! I enjoyed playing against you,
and would like to hear your thoughts about our games.

That was not what got me mad. It was the attack on Midway and surrounding units. The Units that I lost should never have happened. I know that some of my attacks were risky and was allowing for losses there, but is was attacks of veteran and healthy units against injured units, that I could not understand why they happened.
