Adding Smilies

Hi

I've been having an intermittent problem when I try to add smilies to posts.

I think that it only occurs when I am replying to a thread without quoting a previous message ... although this may not be correct :confused:
I also think that it can occur when I edit a previous message that I have posted :confused: even if this one already has smilies.

Anyway the problem is when I write a message and it comes to adding a smily ;) the screen sometimes flashes and the page jumps to the top of the input window. :mad: and the smily has not been added ...
I can alter the text ... just not add smilies :crazyeye:
I can alter and add smilies manually ... but not point to choice menu to add :confused:


Any ideas???
Not a biggy ... I can still post ... it's just frustrating that I can't use my little smiling mates :sad:

I raised the same question several weeks ago (Jan 19) in the FAQ and never got an answer. I have the same problem intermittently also.
 
And since you make a thread for it, maybe it will attract some attention. :mischief:

Happened to me with all browsers...
 
Yeah the few use I know by memory but it's easier just to click and have them added. :p Unless of course I'm using the quick reply. :D
 
Maybe he uses the quick reply most of the time like me?
