I played C3C, There is a Granary in Beijing, I used it as Settle Factory, it works good.
I got a SGL after discovery Philosophy and Monarchy, then I used SGL to rush The Temple of Artemis, but I found the Granary lost his function as below, is this a bug?

Whenever a city grows to size 7 or 13, the granary empties. It will come back the next time you grow a size. (If you starve, it will still be empty)

Depends, did a person starve out of the city? If so, no, because it emptied the food bin already.

crossposted :p

Actually, the granary doesn't empty, it just grows in capacity by 10 food. The 10 food that was saved in the size 6 granary is present in the food box when the city grows to size 7, as shown in mikezang's screenshot. The granary appears to have emptied because it requires 20 food (an extra 10) in the box before it is full again.

The same thing happens on growth to size 13, ie. 20 food is transferred to the new box but 30 (an extra 10) is required to fill the granary.

By the way, why is a red food on side of Granary?
It's a coin not a food. It indicates that the granary is costing 1gpt in maintenance.

Thanks for all your answer:)
May I ask another question here? I asked at other thread but without nay answer.
I copied all pcx files from Sn00pys Terrain (C3C) to civ3 and conquest folder, but it seems like I don't get what I need terrain, what happened? what can I do?

sorry if i miss your problem, but: are you sure you start a game by clicking on "Civ-Content" instead of "New Game" at the starting screen, and then select Sn00py's scenario in the list ? if yes, and you don' find it, make sure you copied it to the correct place. i think the readme is pretty helpful to know the exact location (civ3/conquests/art/ or something).
hope it helps and i did not misunderstand you =)

I found there is something I can't get by "Civ-content", for example, F9 screen, and record on the HALL, and so on.
So I want to start a game by "New game", and copy all mod pcx files to civ3/conquest original folders.

Well, back up your Art/Terrain folder (or whatever it is) and copy the snoopys over. Then rename them (if needed) to the proper filenames. This will still get you your record in the hall, and so on.

Also, you can edit the file manually. I don't recall the format, but if you've already got entries there, you should be able to figure it out.

Mike, in what link did you find that mod? What is it called? :)

err. bump? I'd really like a mod where the number of certain units are numbered in cities. :(
