I am making the leader heads for swords of geddons battlefield asia mod. And I want to know what asian leader or civs you people want or need. so from now until next friday post your asian requests here. I will also exept oceanica, india, and some centeral european. happy requesting~~~
 
I'd like to make a request. :)

Leader: King Sejong
Civ: Korea

King Sejong the Great is considered to be one of the greatest monarchs of the Choson Dynasty. A skilled scholar himself, King Sejong oversaw the creation of the Korean Hangul writing system and invented a rain gauge, striking water clocks, and a sundial.

Are the leaders already mentioned in the Asian Leaderhead Pack thread set? If not, here's my request:

leader: Asoka
civ: India

There are also lots of other leaderheads from Asia that would deserve to be made, but I think Asoka is the most important one.
 
I know hardly anything about him. He was a Burman king during the 11th century. Xyth mentioned him in the other thread, maybe he knows more.

The person of Anawrahta isn't that important, it's more about having a Burmese leader. But that's not my first priority, anyway.

I'd rather go for a Harappan leader. There was some discussion and about it in the other thread. But this request is a very tricky one, so do it only if you want to. :)
 
I couldn't find any images of Anawrahta, the best I could find I already posted here.

If you want more non-pictorial info I'm sure I could dig something up. I agree with Aion, given the lack of images it may be best to just create a generic Burman leader, that we can just call Anawrahta.

Any progress on PCXs?
 
Are we limited to one request? If so, I'd like to nominate:

Leader: Wu Zhao
Civ: China
Wu Zhao (also known as Wu Zetian) was the only female Emperor (ruler, as opposed to "Empress", the wife of a ruler) in Chinese history. She was once a concubine of Li Shimin (Emperor Taizong). After his death, she became the concubine of his son, the Emperor Gaozong. She managed to scheme her way into a very high rank, and even ruled China from behind the scenes when he started having strokes. In the year 690 she became Emperor herself. Chinese historians have not generally been kind to her, perhaps because she was so crafty and ruthless, perhaps because she had the audacity to call herself Emperor when she was a "mere" woman. At any rate, I'm no expert on her, and I'm not here to try to attack or defend her worth as Emperor of China. Mostly I want her included because we need more female rulers for Asia, and I doubted Utada Hikaru was eligible. ;)

At any rate, here are some pictures of Wu Zhao.

(By the way, if we can make more than one request, then I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a leaderhead for Oda Nobunaga. I doubt I need to explain who he is. This is a much lower priority request, however.)
 
haha you can make has many as you want. This thread is for giving me ideas for Asian leaders, there wont be any voting I will be the only one who chooses, I guess if sword need one for his mod I will do any he wants as well. So you can request 100 if you want! Just follow the format. Im planing on making some famous leaders of the sengoku. Oda Nobunaga, Uesugi Kenshin, and a Tokugawa Ieyasu that actually looks more like Tokugawa (or atleast how most japanese picture him).
 
And Takeda Shingen? That would be cool--if you did enough of those, then someone (with more talent than I have) could make a real Sengoku Jidai scenario that included a leaderhead for each daimyo instead of a flag. (Not that the flags were what I objected to in that Conquest. But still, having leaderheads instead would be very cool.)
 
May I second Loaf Warden's request for Empress Wu? We need to get rid of Firaxis's horrid Mao leaderhead. The Li Shimin one for the Chinese version is not that bad, but it's not a whole lot better either...
