Why can't I access Apolyton.net?

I got "Sever can not found" message when I browse http://apolyton.net/ all time.
Then I tried ping, the message as below:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>ping apolyton.net
Pinging apolyton.net [207.44.244.82] with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
....

I'm no computer expert, but I think there might be a problem with the speed of your modem (the ping).

I've just tried it right now and it works fine. Occasionally Poly has access problems, but it's been working allright for the last weeks.

There are plenty of computer experts around on this site

I tried pinging 207.44.244.82 and it timed out as well. But I'm getting to the site in both firefox and IE.

I was just there and go there several times every day for years. They do have problems at times.

It's blocked at school. Says it's under games. Funny why this isn't.

Civ Fanatics has been blocked at my office for about 2 months now since they added newer security software. When I've tried, I get a message saying this site has been blocked and a note made in their log that I've tried accessing it.

I could understand their not wanting me to download anything to their computers, but what difference should it make if I'm just reading or posting on a break? I can access other types of bulletin boards. :hmm:

At work they tried to block MSN messenger once, but gave up quickly when everybody set up their own proxies. With a little technical knowledge it's easy to bypass such "security" measures.
