When i play on a standard/small/tiny map, all other settings random, half of the time i'm pitted against the american civs. I have Conquest 1.22, is this some kind of bug???

It`s not a bug, it`s a feature.
It`s called "linked cultural start" and you can enable/disable bafore you start a new game.

Actually it is a bug. When having "culturally linked starts" on, you will always get the american civs, no matter what your own civ is.

Weird, I allways get Aztecs, Iroquis and Incas fourth maybe random.
