I kinda like mass destruction on the battle front so heres a request for the Humvee Avenger Type93 with some high American firepower.I would really like someone to make this unit.

I was already planning on doing a hummer. But I'm sure there are some on the board here, cdg or civ3files.
Here is what I've got so far.
Adapting one of these to be a missle laucher would be trivial. I can re-use parts of the missle launcher I've already made for the x303.

Bjornlo there already is a humvee or hummer as you call it I use it in my game. I want a Humvee with a missile launcher equipped to it called stinger or the long name Humvee avenger Type93

Changing up one of my hummers to have rockets would be simple. I suppose I can add it to my list. Would not take much work.

Thank's and The U.S Army uses humvees with missile launchers called Stinger. the army and marines use different names for the same thing. EX. Chinook Helicopter goes by a different name than chinook. does it not. you were a marine you should know that they arent the same thing they have different names for things.

The chinook in the marines is called the seastallion. I dont want to aurgue here It exists you probably never heard of it big deal. as long as it can be made so what.Right?

er..actually, the Chinook is the CH-47, and it is exclusivly an Army helo.. The Marine Corps has the CH-46, Sea Knight. At a glance, they look alike in that they both have tandem rotors - but the Chinook is a much larger, heavy lift helo. The Marine Corps equivilant to the Chinook is the CH-53 Sea Stallion, and it looks nothing like the Chinook.

So much for my memory, I guess. But as I said I was never in the wing. I was in the ground forces exclusively... I remember clearly riding in CH-53's... Hell, I will never forget the time we were told to get out (not on the ground) but I still don't remember refering to them as Sea Stallions. I don't doubt you guys though.

Roman Legion, do you happen to know if there is a gunner in the back or not? If there is not, the animation just got easier.

I'm calling this the final model. But I am still open to suggests on whether or not I choose the right way to civ color it, I made some bone-head modeling error, etc.
Unless I hear a better idea, this animation will be used for both fidget & fortify.

btw: does anyone know if the "DEFEND" animation actually works? In looking at a bunch of photos of this unit, I noticed that there was typicaly a machinegun on the right side, so I added one. This won't be too useful in shooting down MG29's, etc... but it would be useful for the unit to defend itself with....
