We are at war with the Persians and have MAs against them with Spain, Portugal, and Maya. These MAs will expire in 8 turns. For Fanatannia, this war has been a phony war. However, we do get war happiness both from this war and from our war with the Byzantinnes (we have MAs against them which last another 13 turns).
Should we continue with the war against Persia when the MAs expire? The two best options are: make the most favorable peace available or continue to fight an additional two turns and assess the situation at the end of the next turnchat. Its unlikely that if our allies make peace with Persia after 8 turns, that Persia would have time to march troops to our territory before the end of the turnchat.
I suggest that we fight another two turns and reassess the situation. I also suggest we give the DP latitude to negotiate peace after the MAs expire if in-game conditions indicate this would be prudent.
