Might be nice to include settings, or at least difficulty level of each start.

Yes do it to the max. A save, a screen of the start and settings. If you want you can use Seed Beast to get the setting and paste in that image.
Now players can really take advantage of your services. In a few months, if it was being done, it could get a sticky.
If it did not have all that data, it would be a nightmare for users to figure out what saves make sense for them. Some will not want to load down high level games and others will not want to load down low level games.
I hope it does become a real warehouse for saves.
