I've made some viking city graphics by combining rufus's switzerland graphics with venetian graphics and ancient graphics from RON. I don't remember who made the venitian graphics, or the RON graphics. I added some factories to rufus's graphics and some buildings for the modern era. I just copied and pasted some walls to make the wall graphics. If someone can make better walled graphics go ahead.

Maybe they could make a Lord of the Rings style fantasy trilogy based around Vikings and Norse Mythology...
They've made two, sort of. The one a few years ago where the vikings sail literally to the edge of the world. It was an intentionally bad movie. The kind that taken sober can induce fits of screaming, but with a couple of shots of scotch will have you laughing your self silly at just how "B" this movie is.
The other one I think was called simply Vikings...Stared Kirk Douglas. Was a horrid movie, the comedy comes from them taking themselves seriously.

Cube4, thanks for your contribution.

The 13th warrior was a fantasy movie... horrible equipment, but at least the story was nice.

Erik the Viking 1989 staring Tim Robbins

I starting working on some 45 degree stockade walls (not sure if they are still called stockade).

Thought I would try it on your ancient viking town for a test.

What do you think does it go together.

Very nice! :D
Although they are in a bit of a conflict with the classic style of civ3 cities

I guess I want to see every scenario have a different look to it. Actually I was thinking of adding a ditch along the front of the wall. :mischief:

A lot of my games don't have the classic civ3 style.

I agree if I just made a single change that it may look out of place, maybe I'll make the forest half cut down, a bunch of stumps, because they were used to make these walls. :D
